Description (partial)

Cisco DNA Center Assurance generates a P1 issue "Dual-Active Detection Link has failed" when a non-DAD interface of a StackWise virtual switch goes down. The non-DAD interface in the StackWise virtual switch that goes down has a name that's a substring of the DAD interface's name. For example, the DAD interface's name is TwentyFiveGigabitEthernet 2/0/24, but the interface that goes down is named TwentyFiveGigabitEthernet 2/0/2.

This was observed in Cisco DNA Center
