Cisco Bug: CSCvu76240 - DNSOMATIC login issue

Last Modified

Aug 26, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Small Business RV Series Routers

Known Affected Releases

1.0.3.17

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The dynamic service provider DNS O MATIC has been acquired by opendns, which is now part of Cisco Umbrella.

They have changed the login URL to https://login.opendns.com.

But on our RV340, it still uses the old login URL https://update.dnsomatic.com, if we choose "dnsomatic" to be DDNS option.

Causing the connection to be failed even if the username/password is correct.
