Symptom: BGP prefixes may fail to be installed into the routing table due to code 13 "Mallocfail - subnet ndb", RIB-failure(13). These prefixes can be seen with the output of show bgp [address-family] [sub address-family] rib-failure. router#show ip bgp vpnv4 all rib-failure Network Next Hop RIB-failure RIB-NH Matches Route Distinguisher: 10.194.0.5:65000 (default for vrf testing) 10.65.14.0/24 10.194.73.135 Mallocfail - subnet ndb n/a Conditions: The problem has been observed with BGP multipath for IPv4 unicast VRF routes.
