Description (partial)

When the customer pastes/types content with new line char in the chat template, the line feed is removed and it is displayed as wrapped text when message is sent to the agent chat.
Since original/typed message is multiline but sent message displayed in a single line, typed message and sent message are different, hence masking message will be displayed as below:

"Don't worry, your sensitive data has been masked"

When the typed text has a line feed character.
