Last Modified

Jun 22, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) Appliances

Known Affected Releases

6.2(3d)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Proxy based HTTPS application fails occasionally as Client may not receive Server Hello after it sends Client Hello.

Conditions:
Issue can occur occasionally, when user is trying to access HTTPS application through Wide Area application Engine (WAE) and through a HTTPS proxy.
For proxy based HTTPS flows, HTTP AO needs to insert SSL AO in the path. Some times there is a Client Hello drop during the insertion process on a WAE box which is nearer to Server.
It can happen only with Legacy SSL AO irrespective of Accelerated Service (ASVC) configuration.
