Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco TelePresence Management Server

Known Affected Releases

15.9

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When TMSPE is deployed and a user attempts to login to access Smart Scheduler, the resulting URL format will be created:
https://tms.example.com/tmsagent/sl/v1/calendars/users/username/user1@netbiosname/events

This can cause issues if the NetBio name contains some special characters, which are valid in NetBios format but rejected by .NET

This will result in the following error displayed in the web browser . In this example, the URL contained a NetBios name containing the ampersand character, which was not accepted by .NET:

A potentially dangerous Request.Path value was detected from the client (&)

Conditions:
When the NetBios name of the TMS Smart Scheduler users contains an '&' character. Not dependent on .NET version.
