Cisco Bug: CSCvu61566 - Cisco DNA Center overwrites ddns_name on Infoblox 8.5.1 when creating an IP address pool
Oct 11, 2020
- Cisco DNA Center
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When creating an IP address pool with Cisco DNA Center and Infoblox integrated, it was noticed that Cisco DNA Center does an API call PUT <Cisco-DNA-Center-node-ip./api/v2/ippool/group/<groudid>, which pushes and overwrites the configured DNS IP address into the Infoblox ddns_domainname. Conditions: This was observed when Cisco DNA Center 22.214.171.124 or 126.96.36.199, and Infoblox 8.5.1 are integrated, while creating an IP address pool in Cisco DNA Center with DNS settings configured via Network Settings.
