Description (partial)

By default, Jabber shows the Device Type (phone model) for each desk phone associated with the user's line.
Most of the end-users are not familiar with phone models, so they would like to have an option to customize the device name of each desk phone associated with their accounts. 
Users would like to have the ability to rename each desk phone so they can see something like "Office Phone", "Home Phone", "Branch X phone", instead of seeing "Cisco XXXX" (phone model).

In Jabber, under Device for Calls >> Desk phone, users will see the available devices, labeled by default with the Device Type name. Users would like to customize the name of each Desk phone to identify better each phone as they are not familiar with the phone models.
