Cisco Bug: CSCvu58246 - Cisco DNA Center UI should not allow IP address pool names with special characters
Aug 18, 2020
- Cisco DNA Center
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Cisco DNA Center's UI should not allow IP address pool names with special characters. Currently, users can create IP address pool names under the Design section with special characters. These IP address pool names are later used in the fabric as a reference to create LISP mobility related configurations. When Cisco DNA Center tries to provision switches in the fabric with these special characters, provisioning fails. Cisco should not allow the creation of IP address pools with special characters in the first place. Conditions: This is observed when IP address pools with special characters are used in Cisco DNA Center 126.96.36.199.
