Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Data Center Network Manager

Known Affected Releases

11.3(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
A vulnerability in the log writing function of Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to perform a log injection vulnerability.

The vulnerability is due to insufficient santization of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by writing invalidated user input to log files. An exploit could allow the attacker to overwrite all of the fmserver.log files which would allow them to hide any dangerous activity that would have otherwise been logged.

Conditions:
Vulnerability is not configuration dependent.
