Cisco Bug: CSCvu53524 - NMTG SmartServices For OAM To PingAccess Migration
Sep 18, 2020
- Cisco Prime Infrastructure
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The existing authentication method used for creating support cases and downloading software updates in Cisco Prime Infrastructure will be decommissioned by the 30th of June, 2020. Until further notice, Cisco.com users will not be able to authenticate for opening a service request for assistance from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) using the existing "Support Cases" option in Prime Infrastructure. Also any additional Cisco.com users (added after 30th of June, 2020) on the Prime Infrastructure account settings page will not be able to authenticate or download Prime Infrastructure related software updates (and/or device packages) from the Administration > Software Update page. Conditions: The current authentication methods in Prime Infrastructure use the OAM (OAuth Authentication Method) service for authentication. After the 1st of July 2020, this OAM service will be decommissioned and will be replaced with multifactor authentication through PingAccess.
