Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco SD-WAN

Known Affected Releases

18.4.5 19.2.2

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When entering the device value for a feature template for the service VPN and interface, the vManage will not push the source interface to the edge device. resulting in the edge devices getting the following error in the CLI:

"NTP message sent to x.x.x.x from interface 'NULL' (0.0.0.0)"

the edge device will not sync with the NTP server on the service side.

Conditions:
vManage 18.4.5 and 19.2.2
When manually configuring the NTP source interface to a service VPN and interface via the feature template.

vManage Should push:
"ntp server x.x.x.x vrf 5 version 4"
"ntp source Gigabitethernet0/0/1"

vMnage is only pushing the service VPN and not the source interface:
"ntp server vrf 5 x.x.x.x version 4"
