Sep 03, 2020
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: JTAPI client to support FIPS approved BouncyCastle Security provider Currently JTAPI client(jtapi.jar) uses non-FIPS approved BouncyCastle bcprov-jdk15on-154.jar and bcpkix-jdk15on-154.jar for encryption along with CiscoJCEProvider.jar. For JTAPI to be FIPS compliant, we need JTAPI client to use BouncyCastle FIPS provider bc-fips.jar. Conditions: JTAPI Security is enabled.
