Description (partial)

Symptom:
When a user presses Ctrl+C during the initial setup script, a message is printed saying they can press CTR-D to continue. 
When we send  2 CTRL-D, on the second time in automated script device hungs.

Conditions:
The user first boots up a box, or after "erase configuration" is run.
