Symptom:
Core was generated by `mpls_io_ea' while freeing shared memory.

The trigger for this issue was a smu that was loaded, this is process restart SMU.

The previous fix to address the leak of shared memory allocated by OFA client processes for client-server transport was not signal handler safe.

Conditions:
Problem Trigger/Conditions - When loading a restart smu. 

Problem Impact - Low since the process is already going for a restart. Further, the system recovers and is in operational state.

Problem Frequency - very rare
