Cisco Bug: CSCvu36755 - SR policy label stack ordering wrong during SR uloop tunnel forwarding installation

Last Modified

Sep 02, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

7.2.1.MPLS

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Traffic drops for SR policies originated from ASR9K during LSP re-optimization for link up event.

Conditions:
Issue is seen with SR micro-loop avoidance protection enabled. When link in the primary path is restored, then micro-loop avoidance feature kicks in and this leads to SR policy forwarding to go over micro-loop tunnel given by IGP. However, XTC agent seems to be pushing the label stack in a wrong order. Destination node SID is EOS=0 and micro loop tunnel label is EOS=1. This should be reverse.
