Cisco Bug: CSCvu32685 - Ipv4 acl with log applied in egress direction is not working

Last Modified

Sep 16, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

7.1.2.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:
In ASR9k router with ipv4 acl with ace's with log option when applied on an interface in egress direction, the logs are not getting printed.
The same works fine in ingress direction. Only in Egress logs will not be printed.

Conditions:
This issue is seen when an access-list is configured with log option in the ACE's and applied in the egress direction. With this configuration, the traffic matches the ACE and the counters for the ace increment, but the logs are not printed for these ACE's which are configured with log option.

The same works when applied on ingress direction.
