Description (partial)

Symptom:
Firepower allows to suppress intrusion event notification for a specific IP address or range of IP addresses triggers a specific rule or preprocessor. This is useful for eliminating false positives. Currently, the suppression allows specifying only source or destination IP address in the Network field of the Suppression configuration window.

In some cases, customers may need to suppress intrusion events based on IP addresses and TCP/UDP ports.

Conditions:
Configure intrusion event notification suppression for a Snort rule.
