Last Modified

Products (1)

Known Affected Releases

3.3(2.28)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The 'Not equal' filter in the Software Agents page does not work as expected. When using IP address , it is able to exclude the IP. But when using CIDR notation for the subnet , the IP or the server is not excluded from the filtered list. For eg : Address != 172.16.110.0/24 , shows the server with IP = 172.16.110.133 in the filtered result.

Whereas for 'Address !=172.16.110.133' filter , the server is excluded. The filter gives different output while using CIDR notation and ip address.

Conditions:
Customer is trying to exclude a particular subnet and filter out the remaining list of servers with sensors installed using the 'not equal' filter for Addresses from the Software Agents page.
