Cisco Bug: CSCvu30856 - LAN Automation should give an error if there is stale configuration for "pnp startup-vlan"

Last Modified

Oct 11, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco DNA Center

Known Affected Releases

DNAC-Wolverine

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The command "pnp startup-vlan" is configured on a seed device for Plug N Play. When Cisco DNA Center's LAN Automation starts, a PnP device will connect over that VLAN, causing LAN Automation Discovery to fail. LAN Automation should have a validation check for the presence of this CLI command before starting the LAN Automation session.

Conditions:
This was observed in Cisco DNA Center 2.1.1.0.
