Sep 02, 2020
- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Flaps on ports 0 to 31 of NC55-32T16Q4H-AT post secy_driver restart . This breaks HA functionality assumption that there should be no flaps or packet drops on process restarts Symptom: Interfaces which are up on ports 0 to 32, would flap post secy_driver restart. This will lead to traffic drop Conditions: 1) SMU installation of a restart SMU can lead to secy_driver restart which might lead to flaps 2) Explicit restart of secy_driver process using "process restart secy_driver location <>" CLI. 3) A genuine crash of secy_driver process will lead to a restart.
