Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers

Known Affected Releases

17.3.1 17.4.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
C9800:AES encrypted "redirect vendor-specific xwf key" config is not shown under show run

For following configuration:
parameter-map type webauth <parameter_map_name>
   redirect vendor-specific xwf key 8 test_key
where test_key is a key that cannot be decrypted using master key, the configuration will not be accepted and will not be displayed in show running configuration. If user wants after to configure un-encrypted key:
parameter-map type webauth <parameter_map_name>
   redirect vendor-specific xwf key 0 test_key,
CLI will not be accepted. The workaround for this issue is following:
parameter-map type webauth <parameter_map_name>
   no redirect vendor-specific xwf key 0 test_key
and then configuring again:
parameter-map type webauth <parameter_map_name>
   redirect vendor-specific xwf key 0 test_key.
