Cisco Bug: CSCvu28536 - ISE 3.0: No indication of status on Primary/Secondary PIC Agents

Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Identity Services Engine

Known Affected Releases

3.0(0.317)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When using the agents in primary/secondary config there is no clear indication of their operational status. The eft documentation states that the DC should show up on the dashboard but I failed to see where or what dashboard it was referencing.

The agent page itself under the passive id section should have a status on it that indicates the agents are sending messages back to ISE or not. Also, should update on the DC status page to know which agent the messages are coming from.

There should be an event in the ?home? dashboard indicating the agent failover occurred also. Otherwise there is no easy way of knowing they are working.

Conditions:
ISE 3.0
Primary/Secondary agent
