Description (partial)

Symptom:
When attempting to troubleshoot ECE, log collection is very difficult for several reasons.  First, each server contains the logs for its own processes.  There is no way at the current time to have processes send output to an external SYSLOG server or shared file location.  Second, processes logs are written in sets of 100 files, each file with a maximum size of 5MB.  This means that issues which require higher trace level settings are not always easy to capture in the set of logs that will be on the servers.  It puts the burden on the customer to constantly copy off the process logs to ensure that nothing is lost.
