Cisco Bug: CSCvu26194 - vKVM connection stucks indefinitely at "Connectiving Viewer" screen

Symptom:
Your attempts to launch vKVM session might end up at "Connecting Viewer" screen. It should be true for HTML5 vKVM application. For JAVA-based vKVM application problem is the same, however you will see a black screen with endless reconnection attempts.

Conditions:
This issue might be hit either with dual-home or single-home UCS blade- or rack-servers connections, since this issue is caused by UCS-FI, where certain CIMC IP address is terminated.

You can hit this issue with either dedicated or shared LOM CIMC interconnection.
Also this kind of issue was hit with CIMC Outband (not Inband) connectivity mode, but it is equally possible, that Inband connections are also affected due to the malfunctioned component in UCS-FI.

Note:

Starting firmware 2.2, you can now access the KVM of the server via inband network.  In other words, before with outband you can only access the kvm via the same network as your fabric interconnect management network. With inband you can now use the same network that the server uses for data traffic.
