Cisco Bug: CSCvu23289 - Disk filled by numerous neostore.transaction.db.* files, causing neo4j issues
Jun 16, 2020
- Cisco Firepower NGFW
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Firepower Device Manager GUI is no longer accessible. The database is unable to start due to the /ngfw disk partition being 100% filled due to a large number of database files existing on the device. Conditions: CDO Customer configures HA. Once paired, CDO client may attempt to login with every individual request to the FTD-API. Depending on the requests, this may bombard the API's database and lead to many transactions being created within a small timeframe. If transaction logs roll over too many times within a 7 day period (the default setting), then an unbounded number of 250MB files can be created, potentially filling the /ngfw partition and forcing the DB to terminate.
