Cisco Bug: CSCvu21980 - OVERLAPPING SUBNETS ACROSS EXTERNAL LEARNT ROUTES AND BD not triggered
Jun 24, 2020
- Cisco Network Assurance Engine
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: OVERLAPPING_SUBNETS_ACROSS_EXTERNAL_LEARNT_ROUTES_AND_BD_IN_VRF event is not generated under some conditions. Conditions: We don’t generate OVERLAPPING_SUBNETS_ACROSS_EXTERNAL_LEARNT_ROUTES_AND_BD_IN_VRF event under following condition: BD is deployed on border leaf. Lets say BD is configured with 220.127.116.11/24 subnet. Border leaf has external L3Out. We receive the same subnet 18.104.22.168/24 via the L3OUT via OSPF This is a problem as BD subnet ( being static route) hides the external route making the external route inaccessible. We do generate the event correctly if BD is NOT deployed on border leaf but deployed on some other non-border leafs.
