Cisco Bug: CSCvu09747 - Duplicate MAC Address results in Update failed error in Phone Migration page

Symptom: Duplicate MAC Address results in" Update failed. A character to numeric conversion process failed"error in Phone Migration page Conditions: 1)Login to CCMAdmin. 2)Access the path Device->Phone. In Find and List Phones page, select 8861 phone provisioned to the node. 3)From related drop down box, select Phone Migration. 4)In Phone Migration page, enable radio button against Phone Type (and Protocol)Required and select (8945 Phone type or any other phone type ),provide Duplicate MAC Address and Description. 5)Click on Save button,followed by click on "OK" button in warning pop up message-with content "Migrating to a different phone type may cause loss of features and data related to those features. Are you sure you wish to continue?".. this results in Protocol drop down box goes empty, "SEP" gets appended to MAC Address already added. Post removal of SEP word,eventual click on Save button results in Update failed. A character to numeric conversion process failed"error . In short, page is rendered useless and no further action can be done. Admin has to traverse back to Phone page.
