Symptom: You see the following error when you run "status" on the CLI: Couldn't obtain mail stats - c695_lab.cisco.com: The daemon is not responding. Or get notified of an alert via email or CLI "displayalerts" "Critical: Queue: Your queue has been corrupted; UNABLE TO REPAIR: unable to mount queue" Conditions: This situation can occur if the mail process did not cleanly exit and you have emails with large attachments stuck in the queue.
