Cisco Bug: CSCvu04311 - WLC should not send client IPv6 packets to switch in CAPWAP or IP
Jul 28, 2020
- Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: In SDA environment where AireOS WLC is directly connected to collocated Border, Control Plane and Edge, wireless client mac entry is learnt against WLC and Access-tunnel both which causes DHCP issues for wireless client. Conditions: Only observed in specific topology where AireOS WLC is directly connected to Fabric in a box (wired). Border, Control Plane and Fabric Edge should all be in one box. IPv6 NS/ND packets are leaked from WLC's management interface towards the connected switch.
