Cisco Bug: CSCvu03221 - [Cisco DNA Center] Reprov of WLC without CLI template removes the VLANs from Flex profile

Last Modified

Jun 18, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco DNA Center

Known Affected Releases

DNAC1.3.3.3

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The Flex Profile VLAN is removed from a Catalyst 9800-CL when a new Cisco DNA Center CLI template is pushed. Re-provisioning the WLC (9800-CL) via a Cisco DNA Center (1.3.3.1) CLI template will remove the previously pushed flex profiles, such as VLAN ID.

This is only observed during the re-provisioning of the the 9800-CL (IOS-XE 16.12.2s) with a new CLI template to onboard additional branches in a phased approach.

Earlier on, the same Cisco DNA Center CLI template was used to provision/configure the VLAN to the flex profiles.

Conditions:
This was observed in Cisco DNA Center 1.3.3.1, managing a Catalyst 9800-CL eWLC running IOS-XE 16.12.2s, and a CLI template was used to provision the device.
