Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Device is having MGMT ip with reachability, but device is discovered using Loopback. which fails the licensing. Conditions: Use case 1: Discovered with Enterprise IP in loopback0 and Enterprise IP in Regular gig interface Behavior: In this case, if there is a reachability to CSSM thru default route, we will be able to register license for device. Else, DNAC will throw a message, as - failed to reach CSSM Use case 2: Discovered with Ent IP in loopback0 and Public IP in regular interface Behavior: In this case, thru regular gig interface, there will be a reachability to the CSSM. Plus, name-server config will be without VRF. This should work. Use case 3: Discovered with Public IP in MGMT interface and Ent IP in loopback0 Behavior: In this case, VRF config should be pushed as part of DNS config(name-server). This should work. But not the ideal scenario, as public IP may / may not be used for all devices in mgmt interface. Use case 4: Discovered with Ent IP in loopback0 and Public IP in MGMT interface Behavior: this will not work unless there is reachability to CSSM thru enterprise nw IP. VRF config will also not be present in name-server config.
