Cisco Bug: CSCvu01986 - ENH: Allow Onboarding and Day-N Templates defined in PnP Claim workflow

Last Modified

May 04, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco DNA Center

Known Affected Releases

DNAC1.3.1.5 DNAC1.3.3.3

Description (partial)

Symptom:
During Cisco DNA Center's Plug and Play (PnP) claim workflow, the user can only specify a single regular template, and is unable to use a composite template.

If the user could also define a single onboarding template (regular template only) and a single Day-N template (regular or composite,) then they could fully provision the network device in a single workflow. This would be able to save even more time, and not have duplicate templates exist between onboarding configuration vs. custom projects.

Conditions:
This was observed when onboarding a network device (i.e. switch or router) in Plug and Play (PnP) where the given option to apply a template to apply configuration to the network device during claim workflow.

This is not applicable to any Provisioning action outside of Plug and Play (PnP).
