Symptom: Some versions of the Firepower release notes do not adequately explain the consequences of particular deprecated FlexConfig commands, including: set connection advanced-options tcp-state-bypass set connection random-sequence-number disable set connection timeout idle Conditions: Version 6.3.0 deprecates these FlexConfig objects for FTD with FMC: * TCP_Embryonic_Conn_Limit * TCP_Embryonic_Conn_Timeout And these associated text objects: * tcp_conn_misc * tcp_conn_limit * tcp_conn_timeout These allowed you to configure embryonic connection limits and timeouts to protect against SYN Flood Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
