Description (partial)

Symptom:
HSRP VMAC missing in one or more Earl(Earl1 excluded) causing Traffic disruption for ports connected on Earl missing VMAC.

Conditions:
Issue seen with combined Features  of VPLS and HSRP for the same VLAN with scaled MAC environment and MAC changes that are very frequent.

Condition for issue

- Both VPLS and HSRP in use with the same VLAN on an affected switch.
- A large number of MAC addresses in use with frequent MAC address activity (moves and learns).
- A change in HSRP state from Standby to Active.

Eg., L2 re-convergence causing a large number of MAC address table updates and an HSRP state change.
