Description (partial)

Symptom:
An ASR1000 series router's interface may see the CRC counter increasing. Although the interface has been administratively shut down (optical module may or may not be inserted), the CRC counter keeps increasing.

Conditions:
This affects the ASR1000 platforms using ASR1000-2T+20X1GE or BUILT-IN-2T+20X1GE.

For Any link down with xcvr or without xcvr there are possibility that interface see CRC errors. As, stats are being send from CC to RP. 

This is not a function impacting issue. It's just observing CRC for interface not in use (down).
