Cisco Bug: CSCvt87976 - EPM doesn't resolve the SS EP sclass correctly after trigger
Oct 03, 2020
- Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: On a remote leaf switch, the sclass of a shared service endpoint can be incorrect due to overwriting of the sclass by the new share service prefix on a different EPG. Example: On the remote leaf switch, XR IP <IP1> is learned with sclass <S1>, which corresponds to the EPG sclass <sclass1> that is based on LPM (<prefix1>/24). If a more specific route leak subnet <prefix1/>29 is configured, then the XR endpoint is still learned with the EPG <sclass1> instead of the sclass coming from the <prefix1/>29 configuration. Conditions: The issue can be seen when a less specific or more specific shared service prefix is added on a different EPG in the remote leaf switch.
