Known Affected Releases

2.4(0.911) 2.6(0.156) 2.7(0.901)

Description (partial)

ISE check DACL syntax feature fails to detect ipv4 octet errors if entered after the keyword host. Network devices may drop the connection due to the invalid syntax which ISE failed to detect.

For example the DACL Content below incorrectly results in a "DACL is valid" state:
permit tcp any host eq 7

Enter any value in 4 octets or more after the keyword host in DACL.
Check DACL syntax will consider it valid.
