Description (partial)

When an L1L2 ISIS router is propagating large number of prefixes between levels, and the reachability to the sourcing level is lost, the local LSPs in the destination level might be updated multiple times, as the prefixes are being removed in the sourcing level.

That may result in delayed convergence in the destination level.

High number of prefixes (thousands) being propagated L1->L2 or leaked L2->L1

Short LSP update timer can make the problem worse, by increasing the chance to send LSP update prematurely and therefore delay the convergence even further.
