  • Cisco Network Convergence System 5500 Series

Known Affected Releases

6.5.3.FWDG 7.0.2.FWDG 7.1.1.BASE

Description (partial)

Transit L2VPN traffic is not load-shared between egress members on L3 lag when received on ingress with 3xMPLS labels - [ExpNull - LDP][BGP][L2VPN] [L2VPN Payload].

There are no issue:
- for L3VPN payload with 3xMPLS labels
- when payload has only 2xMPLS labels (LDP signals ImpNull)

Adding control-word or FAT label does not helps.

NCS5500 performs IPv4 LU next-hop self and signals ExpNull for own Loopback.
