Cisco Bug: CSCvt64783 - CMA WebRTC client displays a blank page if the browser cookie is not parsable
May 06, 2020
- Cisco Meeting Server
Known Affected Releases
2.7 2.8 2.8.1 2.8.2
Symptom: The Cisco Meeting App WebRTC client may display a blank page if the cookie from the user's web browser contains unparsable strings. Conditions: This is normally due to the Cisco Meeting Server's Webbridge component using a subdomain e.g. join.example.com of which it receives all the cookies of *.example.com. If a user visited www.example.com first and they got a domain cookie that applies to all the subdomains, and this 'domain cookie' isn't parsable by the Cisco Meeting App WebRTC client, they will be presented with a blank page.
