Description (partial)

Symptom:
Transit GRE traffic is not VXLAN encapsulated

Conditions:
Nexus 93180YC-EX running 9.3(3) 
GRE Traffic arrives on a layer 3 Port-channel sub-interface which is part of Tenant VRF and has to be VXLAN encapsulated(on top of the GRE Encap) and parent Port-channel is part of a different VRF than the  sub-interface where the GRE traffic was received and has an IP address 

or 
GRE Traffic arrives on a layer 3 sub-interface which is part of tenant-vrf and has to be encapsulated(on top of the GRE Encap) and parent interface is part of a different VRF with some IP address configured
