Cisco Bug: CSCvt62025 - Posture Module Should Trigger on Adapter State Change
May 20, 2020
- Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Example use case: User is connected to wireless and then plugs in an ethernet cable. Both wireless and wired networks share the same subnet, so the default gateway does not change. Hence, the posture module does not fire off. It will only fire on an initial user logon or default gateway change. When this happens the user is stuck in a complaint state on the posture module, but in the redirect state on the ISE side. The issue isn't resolved until the user disables the wireless adapter so there is a DHCP release, then connects the ethernet cable so the AnyConnect posture module then fires off again. Conditions: Same gateway is in use for wireless or wired network. Posture enforcement with ISE configured.
