Description (partial)

When the DHCP client and DHCP server are in two different sites, sometimes the DHCP client is not able to obtain an IP/IPv6 address from the DHCP server.

This issue occurs in Cisco ACI Multi Site deployments when all of the following conditions are met:

1. The DHCP client and DHCP server are in separate sites.
2. The DHCP client's bridge domain is also deployed in the site where the DHCP server resides.
3. The DHCP server's site has a modular spine switch deployed.

In such a case, the DHCP offer packet from the DHCP server sometimes does not reach the DHCP client.
