Cisco Bug: CSCvt47338 - Endpoints do not present entire certificate chain for TLS

Last Modified

Apr 25, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Telepresence Integrator C Series

Known Affected Releases

9.10.x

Description (partial)

Symptom:
This typically works fine for certificates signed by a CA that the other party has on file. However, while a bit troublesome to deploy, it is still entirely possible for the endpoint's certificate to be signed by a longer chain of CAs, in which case the endpoint should present the entire chain.

Conditions:
CE endpoints (whether operating as client or server) would present its own certificate only to the remote party over HTTPS.
