Symptom: When ESC is deployed in an AA geo redundant configuration, a datacenter switchover can result in the new ESC leader node becoming stuck in "running but not ready yet state". Example: [admin@user-geo-4 esc]$ health.sh ============== ESC ================= quagga (pgid 52811) is running consul_template (pgid 2966) is running vimmanager (pgid 48002) is running monitor (pgid 49171) is running mona (pgid 49228) is running drbd (pgid 2877) is master snmp (pgid 52781) is running consul (pgid 2318) is running etsi is stopped pgsql (pgid 52071) is running elector (pgid 47867) is leader filesystem (pgid 0) is running confd (pgid 52944) is phase0 geo (pgid 2283) is primary escmanager (pgid 54094) is running but not ready yet ======================================= In this state the redundant cluster is unable to process new deployment requests; services already under ESC management remain in-service, but reaction to service faults will be blocked until this condition is cleared. Conditions: ESC deployed in geo-redundant topology and datacenter switchover is initiated through either fault detection or maintenance.
