Symptom: In a failover pair, if power off/on to trigger a reboot on standby unit, the bvi interface stops responding. Capture on the bvi interface will see that it was dropped by "no-adjacency". ex: 1: 12:53:32.111322 184.108.40.206 > 220.127.116.11 icmp: echo reply Drop-reason: (no-adjacency) No valid adjacency Conditions: All of the following conditions must be met: 1.Power off/on to reboot the standby unit will trigger this issue. 2.The issue will happen only when the interface is configured with bvi. 3.The issue will happen only when the IP address range is different from the bvi interface. (same IP address range will not happen).
