Last Modified

Oct 06, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)

Known Affected Releases

2.2(3j)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The sclass mapping on the site 100 spine switch does not have an sclass entry that maps to the leaked VRF table, causing the traffic to get dropped with drop reason DCI_SCLASS_XLATE_MISS.

Conditions:
This issue is observed with the following configuration:

site 100
VRF1 stretched
BD1-local
EPG1-local

site 200
VRF2 stretched
BD2-stretched
EPG2-stretched

Contract scope: global

All of these things are deployed from the Cisco ACI Multi-Site, including contracts between EPGs.

In addition, you do the following actions:

1. You provide or consume a contract without deploying the subnets in the EPG.
2. You specify the subnet in each EPG.
3. You provide on EPG 1.
4. You consume on EPG 2.
