Description (partial)

Symptom:
Crash observed on fwm/afm processes resulting switch crash.
Decode shows system stuck in "carmel_batch_read" call for long time so crash happened due to missing heartbeat. 

Conditions:
Due to multiple proton failures(HW failure)
Logs to look for 
Logs :- 
carmelusd_protons_check_and_reset: proton version read failed: slot 0, asic 1
carmelusd_protons_check_and_reset: proton version read failed: slot 0, asic 3
 
Now a recovery mechanism Is already in place to reset the proton and was tries on both protons.
