Description (partial)

Symptom:
Switches that belong to Catalyst 2960X series (for example. WS-C2960X-24PD-L) are being grouped in Prime Infrastructure under the Device Type "Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series Switches" instead of "Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series Switches". This is observed for both stacked and standalone switches.

This issue affects the functionalities like selecting device type groups for configuration template deployment, since selecting category "Switches and Hubs > Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series Switches" does not list the 2960-X series switches. The switches are displayed only when "Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series Switches" is selected.

This also affects reports since the 2960X switches get categorized under Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series Switches.

Conditions:
This is observed when a 2960X series switch is added to the Inventory of Prime Infrastructure. The switch can either be in stack setup or standalone.
